Act’Carbone, a GHG Protocol-compliant tool to help you reduce your carbon footprint

A major milestone has just been reached: our Act’Carbone tool has now been certified as compliant with the GHG Protocol, the international standard for carbon accounting.

Faced with increasingly critical environmental challenges, companies need concrete solutions to measure and reduce their carbon footprint. It is with this in mind thatOnet Cleaning and Associated Services developed Act’Carbone, an initiative designed to assess the carbon footprint of its clients’ cleaning services and provide practical support for reducing it.

Measure to identify areas for improvement

Act’Carbone adapts to every stage of the business relationship, from consultation to on-site operations:

  • Starting from the service design phase

A preliminary estimate of the service’s carbon emissions provides our clients with an initial, clear picture of the environmental impact of the cleaning services performed at their site and helps them make choices that favor more sustainable solutions.

  • Throughout the operation

The data used to calculate the projected carbon footprint is updated with actual site data, and ongoing monitoring is conducted to identify opportunities for improvement and guide reduction efforts. Beyond the calculation itself, Act’Carbone fosters a relationship with our clients based on transparency and collaborative decision-making.

Clear metrics for managing environmental performance

To make it easier to interpret the results and make decisions, a pictogram-based presentation is provided for each scope and its associated subdomain.

In addition, the carbon footprint of the service can be provided in four formats:

  • total emissions generated on site,
  • emissions per hour worked,
  • emissions relative to revenue,
  • emissions per full-time equivalent

These metrics enable our clients to track their performance over time by providing a clear picture of the progress we’re making in decarbonizing our services, and to fully integrate carbon impact into their operational management.

A foundational tool for a comprehensive approach

Act’Carbone is based on a comprehensive analysis of operations, taking into account all factors that contribute to emissions: equipment, travel, supplies, team organization, and specific purchases.

This comprehensive approach makes it possible to identify concrete actions tailored to the specific circumstances of each site and to ensure the initiative is sustainable over the long term.

Compliance with the GHG Protocol: a guarantee of reliability and credibility

Compliance with the GHG Protocol is a true mark of reliability.

By using this framework, Act’Carbone ensures a rigorous approach that is aligned with international standards and tailored to the growing demands for environmental transparency.

For our customers, this means:

  • reliable, robust, and comparable data,
  • alignment with international best practices,
  • a framework for their CSR initiatives,

• greater transparency toward their stakeholders.

Supporting the environmental transition in the long term

With Act’Carbone, Onet Cleaning and Associated Services beyond its core business by offering comprehensive support.

The goal is clear: to help customers better understand the emissions generated by cleaning services, identify key decarbonization measures (scheduling of cleaning sessions, choice of equipment, optimization of travel, and use of supplies), and take targeted and effective action.

This approach enables cleaning services to be sustainably aligned with a low-carbon trajectory, balancing operational performance with a reduction in environmental impact.

This approach is fully aligned with the Onet Group’s goal of balancing economic, social, and environmental performance.
