Exceptional stadiums, proven expertise, Onet: a service provider in action
Events celebrating sport require logistics and organization that are equal to the challenges they represent. With comprehensive solutions for cleaning, security, and hospitality, Onet is a key service provider, ensuring the success of these major sporting events.
A look back at an innovative initiative carried out with PREVILINK Santé au travail (Occupational Health) and the testimony of Matthieu Privat, Director of the Onet Cleaning and Associated Services Hôtellerie agency, which illustrate how prevention is becoming a lever for sustainable performance.
Onet in stadiums:
multi-disciplinary expertise at the service of our clients
Onet is a service provider for major venues such as the Orange Vélodrome in Marseille, the Groupama Stadium in Lyon, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, home to Atlético Madrid football club, the Caja Mágica, Madrid's Olympic tennis center, the Monte Carlo Country Club, home to the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, and the Roland Garros stadium in Paris.

These venues welcome tens of thousands of spectators, so it is essential to meet the requirements of the organizers and the expectations of the spectators. Service professions, and more specifically, reception, security, cleanliness, and logistics, have a strong influence on the quality of the customer experience and, through it, the brand image of an event. Thus, services are at the heart of an event's success.
With up to 400 agents mobilized per event at Groupama Stadium and 300 agents at Orange Vélodrome, Onet stands out for its ability to deploy customized solutions, thanks to meticulous preparation, forward planning, and engineering, for which the group provides all its expertise.
Onet's extensive knowledge of local partners is a real asset, backed by its long and sometimes historic experience working alongside major players in the French events industry, such as Olympique de Marseille. As the exclusive cleaning service provider since 1987, Onet has expanded its service offering to include reception and security services.
Innovative solutions
s for major sporting events
Innovation is at the heart of Onet's strategy, which deploys advanced technologies to meet the needs of major events.
- Cleanliness: an essential pillar for a successful event
During the 2024 Olympic Games, Onet deployed autonomous vacuum cleaners and cobots at strategic locations such as Paris La Défense Arena and Orange Vélodrome. These innovations ensured that spaces remained clean, even during periods of record crowds, while reducing the drudgery of the tasks for staff.
- Security : a major challenge
At the LDLC Arena in Lyon, Onet has deployed 215 AI-powered video surveillance cameras to detect anomalies in real time, thereby enhancing security at the venue, which can accommodate up to 16,000 spectators.
Onet also provided close protection officers for Olympique Lyonnais. During the Olympic Games, our security teams also used advanced screening systems (X-rays) to inspect luggage and equipment at the Orange Vélodrome and the Marina de Marseille.
- Reception: a prerequisite for success
During the 2024 Olympic Games, more than 300 hosts and hostesses were mobilized to ensure a smooth welcome at key venues such as Groupama Stadium and Marseille Marina. Onet optimizes the spectator experience, working closely with the organizers. Our hospitality teams supervised every stage of the process: parking management, guidance around the stadiums, ticket checking, and seating allocation.
An agile, tailor-made offering
s to meet any challenge
Major events demonstrate Onet's ability to meet complex requirements.
The 2024 Olympic Games
Onet mobilized more than 3,200 employees at iconic venues such as the Orange Vélodrome, the National Shooting Center, the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines golf course, and all the competition venues in the heart of the capital.
Innovations, including traceability tools and automated equipment, have made it possible to meet the expectations of the Olympic Committee while ensuring an optimal experience for spectators and participants.
The 2023 Rugby World Cup
At Groupama Stadium, Onet mobilized 140 security agents, supported by coordinators. The goal was to ensure security in a stadium that can accommodate 60,000 spectators per match. Onet was able to meet this challenge thanks to a joint organizational effort with our client and advanced engineering.
Onet's expertise in managing large-scale events
In 2022, the Onet Group's Events Department took charge of managing event projects in consultation with regional departments and local agencies to develop agile, tailor-made solutions. This national coordination and involvement of the entire Onet Group is essential to guarantee our local services.
2023-2024 were pivotal years for Onet's events business, with teams successively mobilized for major global events: the Rugby World Cup, the reception of Pope Francis in Marseille, the reception of the Olympic flame, and the Olympic Games.
These services have enabled us to demonstrate our know-how and expertise in managing large-scale events, while reaffirming that our interventions are useful and essential, and that they promote safety, performance, and well-being for all.
