Onet Technologies wins nuclear logistics contract for Centraco waste processing facility

Onet Technologies wins the nuclear logistics contract for the Centraco waste treatment facility for a period of 5 years, with an option to renew for a further 2 years.

Onet Technologies' teams will be working alongside its partners Netman and KAEFFER WANNER from December 1, 2022, on behalf of its customer EDF cyclelife. The Centraco facility, located at Codolet in the Gard region of France, specializes in the treatment of very low to medium-level short-lived radioactive waste.

For a minimum of 5 years, Onet Technologies will be responsible for the following missions:

• Containment
• Radiological protection
• Decontamination
• Provision of equipment and consumables
• Respiratory protection return management
• Landfill management and conventional waste collection
• Internal waste management in controlled areas
• Sanitation of containers and tanks

As Onet Technologies is the leader of the consortium, the service will be managed by an Onet Technologies site manager.
Around fifteen Onet Technologies employees will be working on this service during the Four en Fonctionnement (FEF) phases, and around twenty during the AT-Maintenance phases.
