Portrait of Alexandre Solana Delattre
Alexandre Solana Delattre's thirst for learning
Behind every exceptional career, there is often a quest for learning. Alexandre Solana Delattre perfectly embodies this quality and his insatiable taste for versatility.
Originally from Pau, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region, he grew up in the Béarn and Basque regions before settling in Toulouse. With a keen sense of challenge and a constant desire to surpass himself, Alexandre is a professional who has built up a rich and varied career, particularly in the healthcare sector.
A history rooted in safety and rescue
It all began with a Bac Pro in Security and Prevention, which introduced him to the safety-security and first-aid professions. This first step led him to join the volunteer fire department, an important experience that he pursued alongside his studies.
Alexandre has retained from this period a pronounced taste for rigor and discipline, and an attraction for activities geared towards others. These qualities, combined with his desire to surpass himself, drive him to go beyond the simple practice of his trade.
A shift towards QSE expertise
After completing his vocational baccalaureate, Alexandre decided to pursue his studies with a Bac+2 work-study program in quality, safety and the environment (QSE). He then joined the Onet Group, where he discovered a new and demanding professional world.
I didn't know what I was getting myself into, but I learned everything on the job.
He quickly learned about quality and environmental management systems, while developing a solid expertise.
Autonomous and effective in his assignments, he gradually developed a versatility that he appreciated. This period was marked by his ability to juggle sales missions, troubleshooting at customer sites, and preparing calls for tender.
However, aware of the development opportunities offered by the position of multi-site sector manager (transport, food processing, prisons and pharmaceuticals), he decided to temporarily put his studies on hold.
He then moved into this strategic role to consolidate his expertise in managing complex teams and diversified projects.
Specialization in the health-pharmaceutical sector
It was when he joined the pharmaceutical industry that Alexandre really found his calling. Over the years, he has developed cutting-edge expertise in services for the laboratories and healthcare establishments he advises. He contributes to the implementation of innovative processes, such as the cleaning of ultrasonic equipment and water baths, the sterilization of solids and liquids for Pierre Fabre laboratories, and the preparation of agar plates for microbiological surveys.
These activities fascinated me, as they enable me to make a direct contribution to the quality of medicines and the care pathway.
Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), a veritable bible in the pharmaceutical industry, has become a cornerstone of his work. Trained in-house, he becomes a trainer himself, passing on his knowledge to his teams. This teaching role strengthens his bond with his colleagues:
By explaining what's at stake, I give them a sense of purpose. This builds loyalty and motivates the teams.
A history rooted in safety and rescue
In 2023, Alexandre has been entrusted with a major challenge: managingOnet Cleaning and Associated Services Cleaning and Associated Services' biocleaning and associated services at the Purpan Hospital in Toulouse.
In this role, he coordinated nearly 300 employees and some 30 external hospital and pharmaceutical customers. His ability to structure and optimize operations while complying with strict health and safety standards was crucial to the success of this assignment.
A philosophy focused on meaning
Whether as a firefighter, QSE, or operations manager, a common thread runs through Alexandre's career: his need to give meaning to what he does. For him, every task and every project must contribute to a greater goal, whether it's protecting lives, guaranteeing safe working environments or ensuring the quality of healthcare products.
His approach is based on a meticulous analysis of customer needs, rigorous process management and a focus on the well-being of his teams to ensure that they are fully invested. He constantly strives to create environments where collaboration and autonomy are at the heart of operations, thus strengthening the involvement and motivation of his teams.
What I've learned is that quality supervision and humane management produce lasting results.
Today, he aspires to go back to school to complete his Master's degree, a move he sees as a source of personal pride and a new stage in his apprenticeship.
I've always needed to learn, understand and challenge myself.
Alexandre Solana-Delattre is a man of action and reflection, whose atypical career path inspires. He shows that with curiosity, rigor and an unshakeable will, it's possible to evolve successfully in a variety of environments. He enjoys teamwork, building relationships with colleagues and customers alike, and is sure to take up other challenges at Onet.
