Groupama Stadium is the 3rd largest stadium in France, with over 59,000 seats. In addition to Olympique Lyonnais matches, Groupama Stadium is also the venue for numerous concerts (Céline Dion, Indochine, The Rolling Stones, Phil Collins, Soprano, Mylène Farmer, Dépêche Mode, Red Hot Chili Peppers... and more to come).

To ensure the safety of its events, the Groupama stadium has entrusted Onet with the security of various strategic locations: the west stand, the south stand, half the hospitality lounges and boxes, the sports and press areas.
Organizing the safety system: co-construction and specialized expertise
The design of the security system for a sporting or cultural event is carried out in collaboration with the Groupama stadium's security manager. In the case of sensitive or high-risk events, a security meeting is organized beforehand to ensure that all entities affected by the event share a similar level of information.
After each meeting with the customer, Christophe Ravis, Operations Manager Onet Security passes on instructions to the general coordinators who supervise the West Stand, South Bend, hospitality area and sports zone.
Each general coordinator supervises local coordinators who manage between 5 and 15 agents, depending on the sector. In all, over twenty coordinators can be deployed depending on the event. AllOnet Security coordinators are in radio contact with the Security HQ to ensure maximum efficiency in the event of an incident.

Supporting the hosts and hostesses Onet Reception, our agents ensure that spectators do not enter the stadium with prohibited items (laser pointers, pyrotechnics, bottles, etc.).
Ensuring compliance with the rules in the stands and on the turnstile:
Our agents guarantee compliance with stadium rules in the stands and lounges. Particularly during Olympique Lyonnais matches, as the south stand is mainly made up of the club's ultras. This area is secured by experienced agents accustomed to dealing with different fan groups. In the event of a problem, our security guards are equipped with communication devices to alert their coordinator or the stadium's security HQ directly.
At the edge of the pitch, security guards are positioned to protect the playing area from intruders and projectiles (Plexiglas shields are used for corner kicks).
In the stands, our hybrid system of reception and security staff provides spectators with comprehensive support, from orientation to personal assistance if necessary.
Discreetly securing the hospitality area:
Level 2 of Groupama Stadium is dedicated to spectator hospitality, with VIP lounges. It is possible to share a seated dinner during Olympique Lyonnais matches. Onet Security provides security for 50% of VIP areas, including the Président Box, the Paul BOCUSE brasserie with an area reserved for the families of OL players and staff, the official grandstand and the emblematic Club des 100.
Our agents monitor and filter access to these lounges, which are only accessible on presentation of a wristband or accreditation. Particular attention is paid to the presentation and interpersonal skills of security guards (discretion, politeness, professionalism).

Manage and control access to sensitive areas:
Agents at Onet Security control access to the sports zone, which includes the changing rooms, the corridor leading to the pitch and the mixed zone. This area is also accessible to certain media organizations, who can gather players' reactions at the end of the match.
Our agents check each journalist's accreditation and scrupulously follow the customer's instructions, which can vary according to the event. Timing is of the utmost importance in this area, to facilitate and not compromise the organization of the event. This system extends all the way to the Olympique Lyonnais dressing rooms.
Particular attention paid to evacuating spectators
The evacuation phase is a delicate one, requiring perfect coordination between reception and security staff. The system can be reorganized with reinforcements before the end of the match to regulate the flow of people and ensure safe evacuation.
