Customer story: Onet secures the French Ministry of the Economy in record time

Onet teams guarantee human security at the many sites of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty.

On these sensitive sites, 160 agents work in shifts to ensure safety, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Some are responsible for fire safety and assisting people in case of need (illness, falls, etc.). The others screen people at the entrance to the halls, check their bags and prevent any attempt at intrusion. All work under the responsibility of a fire safety team leader.

The missions are closely supervised by two inspectors from the Ministry, who make daily rounds of the sites, checking on the taking of shifts, uniforms, equipment, clearances...

Service recovery in record time

Lhe Ministry hasé UGAP, the central purchasing body for public-sector contracts, following the announced withdrawal of its service provider. The central purchasing office turned to Onet, the only service provider listed in the service provider for human security in the UGAP partner since 2002. Onet's teams set to work to meet the deadline. The success of the project in just a few weeks hinges on good coordination of the teams UGAP and the Ministry.

Four areas of work

Personnel, equipment, logistics, operations: we had to work simultaneously on all these key areas in order to get the project off the ground quickly.
A special management unit was set up within Onet to adapt the service to customer feedback (specifications, on-site assessment of equipment needs, human resources requirements, etc.).).
The transfer of personnel, recruitment, training and accreditation upgrades were managed in parallel.
We also had to find new suppliers to reference equipment that was not yet available: bulletproof vests, hybrid cars - Bercy being as sensitive as Onet to questions of eco-responsibility -, etc.

Lastly, a team was recruited to implement all aspects of the operation (planning, instructions, equipment configuration, etc.). Weekly follow-up meetings were organized with UGAP and the Ministry, to keep them informed of progress...

Maturity and solidarity

What was Onet's strength in this major project? Our teams are mature and committed," explains Sylvain Membrives, Area Manager, Île-de-France. UGAP and the Ministry were also very responsive, sometimes adapting their methods to enable us to meet deadlines. We were able to show them our values and skills. Today, they're satisfied.
