Customer case study: Onet secures more than 17 railway stations and 4 technicentres
80 to 100 agents Onet Security are responsible for security at stations between Menton and Les Arcs-Draguignan, and at 4 technicenters. To guarantee surveillance of the 21 sites, a mobile human presence supported by video surveillance operators has been deployed.

Safety system adapted to the activity of each rail site
The Onet Security agents maintain order by carrying out surveillance rounds and controlling access. Security arrangements vary according to the activity of each station: stationary guards for high-traffic stations, or mobile guards for less-frequented stations.
Mobile security guards may be required to monitor several stations in a single shift. When closing station entrances, they check that no one is attempting to disrupt rail operations (squatters, acts of vandalism). Before taking up their 1st shift, agents undergo dedicated training in railway and terrorist risks.
Video surveillance as operational support for agents Onet Security
Each rail site has its own video surveillance system. Operators view camera images at the Video PC and communicate with teams in the field via PTI telephone. They represent a real operational support for the agents, ensuring remote doubt removal if necessary.
In the event of a suspicious parcel, the presence of a video operator is essential to trace the path of the parcel and initiate the procedure in close collaboration with the police.
Dog handlers to guarantee safety at technical centers
Technicentres are sites specializing in the maintenance of railway equipment. Onet has deployed canine security guards to secure its complexes and parked trains. Canine surveillance is essential to deter potential attackers and thieves, and to reassure maintenance personnel.
Deployment of a computerized handbook to optimize service monitoring
To supervise and monitor the services provided at each site, the management team at Onet Security uses a computerized logbook software program to trace the taking of shifts, rounds and interventions, entrances and exits, GPS position, loaned equipment (keys, badges, PTI)... Thanks to this information, the management team atOnet Security can provide precise, reliable, real-time reports on security activity at the sites.
The software also enables the transmission of instructions via the PTI telephone of an agent on duty. If necessary, agents can report incidents by sending photos/videos to the site manager via the application.
