EDF DIPDE and Onet Technologies: 20 years of collaboration to strengthen nuclear safety

Since 2002, Onet Technologies has been working alongside EDF DIPDE (Division de l'ingénierie du Parc et De L'Environnement) to enhance the safety of nuclear power plants in France. This partnership, recently renewed for a period of 6 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years, bears witness to the mutual trust and effectiveness of the Onet Technologies-EDF DIPDE collaboration.

120
cases handled each month

Onet Technologies' missions and projects for EDF DIPDE

Every month, our teams handle almost 120 cases, covering a broad spectrum of activities from the preparation and monitoring of maintenance operations to complex facility modification projects. Our mission: to provide technical and regulatory support in radiation protection, an essential aspect of risk prevention at nuclear power plants.

The expertise of our teams is illustrated by the development of innovative tools, such as the design of an automated framework for managing radiation protection files. This tool defines radiological risks and automatically proposes appropriate countermeasures, guaranteeing accurate analysis and enhanced safety.

Our engineers are working on strategic projects for EDF, such as the improvement of water make-up systems in the event of the loss of a plant's heat sink, or the corium stabilization project for 1300 MWe reactors (P4 and PP4). In this context, our radiological studies, carried out using the MCNP 6.2 probabilistic calculation code, enable us to dimension the biological protection required to ensure the safety of nuclear facilities.

A relationship of trust between Onet Technologies and EDF DIPDE, based on human values

Over the years, Onet Technologies has developed a solid relationship with EDF DIPDE. A partnership that is above all human, where our teams seek to anticipate our customer's needs and offer ever more appropriate solutions.

This collaboration has also led to an increase in the number of dedicated staff within our teams, from a single engineer at the start of the contract to a full team of six radiation protection professionals today.

This partnership between Onet Technologies and EDF DIPDE continues to strengthen over time, demonstrating the importance of expertise, innovation and mutual trust in meeting the challenges of the nuclear industry sector.

Thanks to EDF DIPDE for its renewed confidence and to our teams for their work on this project!
