Onet Technologies has recently acquired a new skill that is increasingly in demand in the nuclear industry: time calculations. Temporal calculations enable us to guarantee the stability of our nuclear installations in the event of earthquakes, shocks or falls, thus responding effectively to the major nuclear safety and security issues encountered by our customers.

This expertise has been developed within the calculations department of our technical center in Pierrelatte, for needs that arose in the context of two projects, "Piscine P1" and the new waste storage building at Marcoule: "EDEN". 

Chloé, head of the calculations department, comments: "Until recently, we only carried out simplified calculations of the 'corner of the table' type in static analysis, which cannot be carried out in temporal analysis. Acquiring this skill in temporal calculations, which is not common in our industry, enables us to go even further in our expertise".

Thanks to this expertise, we can now model and simulate extreme situations, anticipate potential faults and implement effective corrective measures.
