Onet Security commits to responsible management and reuse of security guard uniforms
At the end of 2024, the new Cnaps regulations on private security guard uniforms came into force, as did our change of company name and logo (Main Sécurité became Onet Security Solutions Humaines).
We had to redesign the branding of all the uniforms worn by the 6,000 Onet Security agents.
Rather than disposing of our stock of obsolete outfits, we have entered into partnerships with three players in the field of professional reintegration and adapted work, to reuse our agents' clothing: Fil Rouge, ESAT Saint Jean and ESAT Les Lierres of the Unapei de Provence association.
Reuse clothing while contributing to the local social economy
Rather than destroying over 3,600 items of safety clothing (shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, parkas, hats, yellow vests, windbreakers, T-shirts) with obsolete markings, we chose to give them a second life.
Fil Rouge, the ESAT de Saint Jean and the ESAT Les Lierres of the Unapei de Provence association, 3 structures that enable people far from employment (notably long-term jobseekers, disabled workers and people facing social difficulties) to find a rewarding activity adapted to their needs, are the partners we have selected for our project.
Project milestones :
- Centralize all uniforms: collect clothing from customer sites and branches
- Sort clothing that can be reused and recycle end-of-life clothing
- Wash and iron clothes in good condition
- Make the necessary adjustments to each garment type
- Manage the logistics of reused outfits: storage, preparation and dispatch of outfits to our 27 branches across France.

Changes to outfits :
For security guard outfits, subject to regulations coming into force in October 2024, complex transformations were carried out
- sewing of a Velcro fastening to add the individual identification number (specific characters and positioning)
- printing of the words "Sécurité privée" on the white back
- sewing of a badge with the logo in compliance with the imposed dimensions.
For firefighters (SSIAP) and industrial firefighters (E3I ):
- sewing of new badges with Onet Security branding.

The organization
The work on the outfits to be recycled was divided between our different partners, taking into account the production capacities of each.
The logistics of the reused outfits were entrusted to the ESAT Les Lierres of the Unapei de Provence association. An illustration of our determination to combine logistical performance and social commitment!
Reminders
New regulated and harmonized uniforms for better recognition of private security guards since October 2024
The Cnaps decree, which came into force on October 1, 2024, imposes three clear identification elements for the outfits of private security agents:
- Individual identification number: the last 7 digits of the business card's identification number must appear at the top left of the outfit (Arial 36 type on a 54 mm × 15 mm black background band).
- Company logo: below the identification number, the company logo must appear at least as large as a 50 mm square.
- Private security: on the back, the wording "sécurité privée" (private security) must appear centered horizontally on a black background (Arial 76 characters in retro-reflective capitals).
The decree concerns only the uniforms worn by CNAPS-sworn security guards. Consequently, the outfits of SSIAP agents and industrial firefighters are not subject to the new regulations.
Change of branding and logo on Onet Security agent uniforms
At the beginning of 2024, theOnet Security companies changed their corporate names: Main Sécurité, dedicated to human security, became Onet Security Solutions Humaines, whileOnet Security Telem, specialized in electronic security, became Onet Security Systèmes.
This harmonization strengthensOnet Security identity and makes our global security offering clearer to our customers. The logos have also been updated, resulting in updated branding on our agents' uniforms.
