Nuclear dismantling with laser cutting

With over ten years' experience in laser cutting, Onet Technologies provides its customers with unique technologies based on CEA developments and years of R&D :

The Marcoule laser technocenter

The Marcoule Laser Technocenter, due to open in 2023, is dedicated to the testing and development of laser technology. The Technocentre serves as a laser test center, a showroom for our customers, and an R&D center for perfecting this technology.

Our references in nuclear decommissioning

Plant UP1

Presented as a world first by Onet Technologies in December 2015, laser technology has demonstrated its full potential as part of the project to dismantle the UP1 dissolvers in the spent fuel reprocessing facility at the CEA Marcoule site in France.

Fukushima Daiichi

Onet Technologies and CEA are developing scenarios and testing remote-controlled cutting and evacuation systems for the Control Rod Drive Housing (CRD-H) at the Fukushima Daiichi accident site in Japan.

Dismantling the exchangers at Chinon A3

The project to dismantle the heat exchangers at the Chinon A3 reactor, an emblematic EDF DP2D site, involved dismantling, packaging and evacuating all the heat exchanger circuits present in two premises. The project was completed in February 2023, after ten years of intensive work.
