DEM: the not-to-be-missed international event on nuclear dismantling

The DEM exhibition, which is expecting 500 participants from all over the world, is a unique opportunity:

  • Meet the international players in the market, Discover the latest technologies and innovations in nuclear decommissioning
  • Discuss the management of radioactive materials and waste, and the remediation of buildings and sites,
  • Take part in plenary sessions and technical sessions co-hosted by Onet Technologies teams, in collaboration with other players in the sector,
  • To share our experience and learning.

The exhibition will provide answers to the questions currently being asked by our industry:

  • How to trigger innovation?
  • How could we attract young researchers and engineers into the D&Dmarket?
  • What are the next D&D, recycling and waste management challenges?
  • How to anticipate the future dismantling of very new projects, such as SMR and AMR?

Nuclear dismantling using laser cutting

With over ten years' experience in laser cutting, Onet Technologies provides its customers with unique technologies based on developments made by the CEA and years of R&D work:

  • Design of patented laser heads;
  • Integrated laser cutting system (mobile and robust) designed for industrial deployment on a nuclear site;
  • Associated safety systems to manage the specific risks induced by the laser (dust, residual energy, aerosols, etc).

At DEM 2024, Onet Technologies will be showcasing its latest in nuclear dismantling technologies, including laser cutting, on booth 11

The Marcoule Laser Technocenter

The Marcoule Laser Technocenter, opened in 2023, is dedicated to the testing and development of laser technology. The Technocentre serves as a laser test center, a showroom for our customers and an R&D center for advancing this technology.
