Onet Technologies wins an EDF CNEPE contract!

Onet Technologies has been awarded a contract by EDF CNEPE to carry out a feasibility study using multi-element ultrasound (UTME) to inspect welds on low-alloy steel piping! This project is part of the drive to replace non-destructive testing by gammagraphy with alternative examination methods.

The aim is to evaluate the performance of multi-element ultrasonic technology for detecting and characterizing welding defects, on different assembly geometries, with limited accessibility.

In order to demonstrate the performance of the process developed, Onet Technologies' NDT teams carry out a study based on UTPA testson representative reference models, including artificial reflectors and real defects, and use CIVA digital simulation tools to build the technical justification file for the process.

Winning this contract is further proof of the professionalism and skills of our teams. A big bravo to them!
