Customer case: Onet Logistique takes over management of SOGEVAL's general warehouse
With a view to optimizing the logistics function at the store, and with the eventual aim of expanding its scope with the creation of a centralized store, management of this activity will be entrusted to Onet Logistique teams from February 1, 2023.
The general warehouse, to be set up in 2019 at the Sogeval site and until now managed by Onet Technologies, will manage spare parts, tooling, consumables and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the site's Reactor Engineering and Services and Dismantling and Waste Treatment Engineering and Services Departments.
Mastering logistics processes
The SOGEVAL store stocks around 6,000 items on a continuous service from Monday to Friday , with an on-call service available outside opening hours.
Onet Logistique's specialized teams manage and control all flows, with the following main missions:
- procurement: sourcing suppliers, consolidating requirements, placing orders in liaison with the purchasing department,
- physical and computerized reception of parcels, checks..,
- inventory management and counter distribution
- management of nominative parcels and delivery to addressees.
Optimize processes with our expertise
Thanks to its business expertise and engineering know-how, Onet Logistique will provide overall supervision and management by specialized teams, and streamline the allocation of costs to the various departments (Engineering and Reactor Services and Engineering and Services for Dismantling and Waste Treatment).
Onet Logistique will also be implementing improvement actions in 2023:
- New IT tool: deployment of a WMS (warehouse management system), inventory management software for tracking, controlling and optimizing flows and stocks,
- Optimizing and securing flows: relocation of the warehouse to rationalize the use of storage space and thus separate and secure flows,
Redefining processes: establishing new processes and operating procedures
