Dry ice blasting
Offer you a renovation solution that respects your substrate and the environment
Cryo-cleaning is a revolutionary cleaning method in which dry dry ice in the form of cylinders called "pellets" is blasted by a stream of compressed air. The combination of mechanical shock and intense cold (thermal shock) loosens the layer to be removed (cryogenic stripping).
The cleaning process leaves no secondary residue, as the dry ice sublimates. The only residue to be disposed of is the layer that has been removed, which is easier to treat.
Dry ice blasting: a solution tailored to your needs
Cryogenics enables deep cleaning of all types of surfaces, combining performance and preservation of your equipment.
By increasing cleaning efficiency, it eliminates stubborn contaminants and dirt that affect the quality of your business.
Thanks to the absence of chemicals and reduced water consumption, this process limits environmental impact while remaining water- and waste-free. Unlike abrasive or conductive methods, cryogenics avoids damage to sensitive equipment.
What's more, it optimizes the profitability of your production by reducing downtime and increasing productivity.

How does dry ice blasting work and how is it applied?
The liquefied CO2, drawn from a reservoir, passes through a pelletizer which transforms it into a solid aggregate: dry ice. This very low-temperature snow (-78.5°C) is then compacted in a die to produce sticks or pellets(the pellets or sticks are stored and delivered in isothermal containers).
Micro-pellets are projected using the compressed air supplied:
- Or through the company's internal network,
- Or an air compressor.
The gun used to spray the pellets or dry ice under pressure directly onto the surfaces to be cleaned.
What are the advantages of dry ice blasting?
The use of this process guarantees more effective, longer-lasting cleaning, optimizing efficiency while preserving equipment quality:
1. Greater efficiency
Where traditional techniques don't work, cryogenics provides a solution (use of water and chemicals is impossible, accessibility is limited, sensitive equipment is difficult to access, etc.).
2. Environmentally friendly
This cleaning process uses no chemicals, no water and no added waste (recycled CO2).
3. More versatility
Suitable for a variety of surfaces (buildings, industrial equipment, fragile machines, etc.) and without risk of damage.
4. Time saving
Fast and efficient, cryogenics reduces downtime for cleaning (up to -80%).
5. Durability of your equipment
Cleaner equipment means better quality, longer life and significantly reduced wear and tear on production equipment.
