Lyon St Exupéry airport agents get off to a flying start

After assisting the last flight of our customer, a French airline, on Sunday March 29, Lyon St Exupéry Airport is back in operation after a shutdown of more than two months. The Onet Airport Services teams on site, in charge of aircraft and passenger management, are back in action under the cameras of the TF1 8pm news.

When Onet Airport Services teams reinvent themselves to meet new expectations

Our actions at Lyon Saint Exupéry airport are numerous, with no fewer than 214 agents mobilized.

Our employees are deployed in two sectors of activity:

Aircraft handling, including tarmac guidance, tractor push-back, cleaning and baggage handling. These activities require the daily presence of 162 agents.
Assistance for people with reduced mobility, with 52 agents authorized to board passengers using lifting platforms.

After a period of prolonged shutdown at the airport, activity has resumed in compliance with health standards and the ISAGO standard, to which Onet Airport Services is accredited. Our agents have once again validated their skills on the missions carried out on the aircraft.

A limit on the number of cabin baggage items left at the foot of the aircraft has also been introduced as part of the health crisis. Onet's teams on the ground also took passengers' temperatures during the initial decontamination phase.

A health safety protocol protocol

In addition to our airport services, our teams have been able to adapt to new customer requirements linked to sanitary measures: setting up a reception desk for travelers, reinforced disinfection protocol...

The Group also decided to reinforce theOnet Cleaning and Associated Services teams in charge of aircraft cleaning. This increase in capacity has been accompanied by the introduction of fogging operations on aircraft remaining on the ground.
