Onet Technologies Formation: Update on the future Maison des Entreprises et de la Formation with Marc Fesneau, Minister for Relations with Parliament

On Thursday, September 30, 2021, Onet Technologies CEO Alain Gauvin held a progress meeting with elected officials from the Grand Chambord and Beauce Val De Loire Communities of Communes, in the presence of Marc Fesneau, Minister for Relations with Parliament.

Onet Technologies Training

The future Maison des Entreprises et de la Formation (business and training center) of the Grand Chambord and Beauce Val De Loire communities of municipalities will specialize in nuclear power and logistics. These two sectors represent hundreds of jobs and are booming in the area covered by the inter-community agreement.

In order to support the development of these activities and respond appropriately to the current and future needs of companies, Grand Chambord and Beauce Val de Loire have decided to offer a high-performance tool to specialized organizations. In particular, it will enable training to be provided to companies such as EDF (which operates the Saint-Laurent-des-Eaux nuclear power plant) and its subcontractors.

Managed by Onet Technologies' vocational training organization, the Maison des Entreprises et de la Formation will be designed to meet the skills needs of companies based in both areas.

Scheduled for completion in 2022, this state-of-the-art structure will feature four distinct areas:

  • A training site to reproduce work situations specific to a full-scale nuclear power plant;
  • A platform dedicated to companies and training organizations in the logistics sector for delivering safe driving training (CACES);
  • Training rooms;
  • The administrative offices of the economic development department of the Communauté de Communes Beauce Val de Loire.
