Have the hospitality and assistance professions changed much in recent years?

So-called "classic" reception duties are no longer just part of the daily work performed by our hostesses and hosts. Today, the tasks entrusted to them require a high degree of versatility and specific skills.

Corporate hostesses and receptionists manage access and badges, mail and parcels, book travel tickets, update registers and diaries, compile statistics, provide administrative or technical support, stock supplies, manage catering, etc.

What is the impact of the current health crisis?

Our business is linked to that of our customers. And few companies have been spared by the health crisis.
We have therefore devised various solutions as part of a package of measures to combat Covid-19. For example, our hostesses and receptionists have been trained and empowered to ensure compliance with barrier gestures and other safety instructions, to regulate the flow of people, to guarantee the availability of personal protective equipment and sanitary equipment, to ensure their proper conditions of use, and so on.

They also carried out temperature checks at certain customer sites.

How do you see the future of the hospitality and assistance professions?

In the age of digitalization, technology has already begun to shape the reception of tomorrow, transforming the visitor experience and the organization of the reception area.

Tracking and tracing software, welcoming robots and biometrics are just some of the new digital services that will provide visitors with an "augmented" experience.

Tomorrow's reception will be resolutely more dynamic and immediate.

It doesn't just start when the visitor enters the site, but well upstream, for ultra-personalization.
