Onet Airport Services innovates to prevent musculoskeletal disorders among our employees

Since the beginning of the year, Onet Airport Services teams have been using a new technological solution to trace baggage loading and collect operational data.

This connected tool greatly facilitates our employees' day-to-day work, as it allows them to scan luggage while keeping their hands free.

Used, in particular, during loading operations for loading onto aircraft, it represents a real change in working methods.

Reducing risks for our employees through innovation

Some of our professions are more prone to musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). This is particularly true of Onet Airport Services.

Luggage handling and all the associated professional gestures require considerable physical effort. That's why we're looking to improve our employees' working conditions, in particular through innovative means.

We recently developed a new tool: the scanner glove.
Instead of holding a scanner in the hand, this glove allows the agent to use both hands.

Operated with one finger, it allows you to scan a piece of luggage, then handle it with 2 hands, thus avoiding the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

Improving operating performance

Our new equipment features multi-connectivity technology, guaranteeing baggage traceability throughout the indoor and outdoor airport.

As a result, this tool has contributed to an improvement in the management of our activity, resulting in a gain in performance for our customer.

Having proved its effectiveness in field tests, this type of innovative tool is now being deployed throughout our operation.
