Portrait of Marie-Astrid Copin
"My job is my passion," says Marie-Astrid Copin.
Operations Manager for the Onet Cleaning and Associated Services branches in Chartres and Blois. A communicative and dynamic employee, she also finds time to get involved with the Onet Foundation and other associations. Portrait of a committed and passionate employee.

A taste for the Human
Marie-Astrid Copin joined Onet on a sandwich course while still a BTS student, and has never left the company. Her career path has led her to move around geographically, taking her over the years to Angers, Brive, Auxerre, Orléans and finally Chartres and Blois, where she now assumes responsibility for both branches.
As Operations Manager, she is responsible for leading her team (area managers, operations assistants) and for reporting. She oversees the quality of services and exchanges with customers. She manages her customer portfolio and ensures that contracts are profitable.
In her job, the human factor plays a central role, with responsibilities that obviously require managerial qualities. " I love my job because I enjoy contact with people. In waste management, you come into contact with different business sectors and cultures, and this variety is very enriching ", she explains. Aware that good contract management also depends on the well-being of her employees, she keeps a close eye on their working conditions, and admits that she is "proud to have been able to develop my staff".
A lifelong supporter of solidarity causes
Her love of social interaction began at a very early age, leading her to volunteer at the Restos du Cœurthe association created by Coluche in 1985 to combat poverty and exclusion in all its forms. She also offered her help to the ASPAD shelter in Châteauduna member of the Confédération Nationale "Défense de l'Animal".

Then in 2013, it was time to support the Onet Foundation Foundation. Created in 2010, the main aim of the corporate foundation is to support action in favor of solidarity and the fight against inadequate housing. Every year, Onet Group employees get together on the 3rd Friday in September, on the occasion of the Solidarité Logement dayto help the most disadvantaged. For a whole day, they work to give the beneficiaries of the associations they help a more pleasant place to live.
From volunteer to project leader
With the Onet Foundation, Marie-Astrid Copin changes her role from volunteer to project leader. In 2025, her project will take place in Blois for the Restos du Cœur. This is the 6th project she has carried out as a project leader for the Solidarité Logement day. Since 2013 and her first project in Orléans, thanks to her, Onet employees have taken part in a shelter for disabled people, in homes for battered women, in a disabled sports association...

Different locations, different tasks, such as refurbishments, painting, maintenance of green spaces or sanding shutters, but always the same desire to help those in need.
I consider myself lucky in life, so it's only natural for me to help those in need.
Marie-Astrid
From now on, ahead of the Solidarité Logement day, it is she who chooses the partner establishment, coordinates purchases, defines the human resources required, encourages employees to participate, organizes the lunch break, etc... A role which requires organization, team spirit and the ability to mobilize energies.
All these projects have been carried out as part of a group - I couldn't have done anything on my own. Getting things done is only possible with mutual help and solidarity.
Last year in Chartres, employees came from the Bourges-based Regional Division and the Chartres and Blois agencies. An exemplary mobilization that rewards its investment.
Solidarity and Housing Day is always a day of sharing. What's more, it allows us to meet in a different context, outside the usual hierarchical links.
The Onet Foundation owes the growing success of its annual Solidarité Logement day to employees such as Marie-Astrid Copin. Thanks to her generosity and enthusiasm, she makes the Foundation's mission of combating inadequate housing a reality.
Well done and thank you Marie-Astrid!
