Since 2002, we have been a strategic partner of Air France at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub, one of the most complex hubs in the world. With more than 60,000 pieces of luggage handled each day—nearly 50% of which are connecting bags—our organization is designed to handle high volumes while ensuring smooth operations, continuity, and sustainable operational performance.
Our goal: to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, optimize infrastructure utilization, and provide practical solutions to the challenges faced by airlines and airports.
Organization and Management of Baggage Flow at Hubs
Plan Ahead, Organize, Ensure Security
Hub environments are characterized by multiple connections, high-volume baggage flows , space constraints (aircraft, holding areas), and constant activity.
Our teams provide:
- The organization and supervision of baggage arrival, departure, and transfer operations,
- Sorting luggage and selecting the most appropriate handling routes,
- Management of transfers between zones and terminals,
- Optimizing the use of space (luggage area management),
- Anticipating peaks in activity and adjusting resources among the sorters,
- Prioritizing critical flows based on time constraints,
- Coordinating baggage operations with the ramp, security screening, and various partner teams.
We also handle the management of specific workflows:
- Oversized luggage, sports equipment, fragile items
- Handling of AVIH (live animals in the cargo hold) in accordance with the relevant protocols
Our approach to baggage flow management optimizes the use of airport infrastructure, reduces congestion in critical areas, and improves the management of baggage transfers. This control over baggage flows also helps improve on-time performance (OTP) and minimize disruptions to baggage flow.

Intermodal Coordination (Air–Rail, Multimodal Connections)
Connect modes of transportation and enhance the appeal of your hubs
Since 2025, Onet Airport Services has been supporting Air France in implementing the Air&Rail service at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. This “intermodal” solution allows travelers to make a seamless journey between the Brussels train station and any of Air France’s 194 destinations by combining a portion of the trip by train with another portion by plane.
Our services for trains arriving from CDG:
- Secure handling and transfer of luggage to the airport's baggage claim carousels,
- Welcoming passengers and directing them to the various terminals.
Our services for trains departing from CDG:
- Greeting and checking in passengers connecting to Brussels, particularly international passengers,
- Assistance for passengers with special needs,
- Baggage handling.
Our goal is to ensure a smooth, safe, and people-centered transition between modes of transportation in a complex environment.

To that end, in 2023 we implemented a hands-free scanning system that allows baggage handlers to work with both hands free. This innovation enables a baggage handler to double the number of bags scanned per hour.
