Innovation for tunnel cleaning
At the end of January, Onet Cleaning and Associated Services completed its brand new tunnel cleaning truck.
A truly innovative truck
Two years' work and an investment of €350,000 went into developing this innovative rolling machine.
"We had to adjust the hydraulics, the HP cleaner, intervene on the complex tanks and the articulation of the autonomous brushes.
The truck now complies with Euro 6 standards, enabling us to respond to all calls for tender and extend our activity to all French tunnels..
We have a real competitive advantage and strong development potential, as this truck meets operators' expectations", enthuses Samuel Lecomte, Regional Manager for the Rhône-Alpes region.
Tunnel cleaning expertise
Onet Cleaning and Associated Services benefits from real expertise in this field, with the commissioning of its first "tunnel-boring" truck in 1980 for the opening of the Fréjus tunnel, followed by a second custom-built truck in 2002.
Onet now operates two trucks dedicated to monthly tunnel cleaning. An activity subject to severe constraints. " We operate at night with a convoy of five vehicles. Cleaning is carried out while driving. Traffic is maintained but alternated ," explains Samuel Lecomte.
This business is set to expand over the next two years, and will enable us to reinforce our expertise in high-pressure cleaning.
