Onet renews its partnership with the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters for a further 3 years, confirming its expertise in the events sector
The organization of the tennis tournament Monte-Carlo Masters has renewed its confidence in Onet Cleaning and Associated Services by signing a new 3-year partnership to ensure the cleanliness of its facilities. An essential partner in a still tense sanitary context.
Calling on an event cleaning expert is more essential than ever
Since the start of the pandemic, hygiene has been at the heart of French people's concerns. According to an IPSOS survey conducted with Onet in 2021, 8 out of 10 French people now pay more attention to the level of cleanliness and hygiene in the places they frequent.
The organization of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, like all players in the events sector, considers the use of an expert service provider to be a key factor in the success of its events. expert cleaning evénementiel as essential to providing spectators, visitors and players with a reassuring sanitary environment.
From April 9 to 17, 2022, the tournament welcomes thousands of spectators and the top 10 tennis players in the ATP world rankings, including Daniil Medvedev, Novak Djokovic, Alexander Zverev, Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Events require adaptability
"Onet is proud to have been involved since 2010 in the success of this prestigious sporting event, which contributes to the reputation of the Principality and the entire region. The way the tournament unfolds requires our teams to be highly adaptable, and I'd like to congratulate them on their professionalism. The renewal of our partnership is fully in line with our commitments on the Rock."explains Bruno Babilas, Director of Emone, the Monegasque subsidiary of the Group.he cleaning company Onet Cleaning and Associated Services.
Changing rooms disinfected by fogging
To guarantee a reliable level of sanitary protection, our teams will provide airborne surface disinfection (AVSD) by fogging. During the tournament, the most infectious area is the professional changing rooms. Thanks to this fogging method, which is highly effective against all types of viruses such as coronavirus, influenza and gastroenteritis, we can guarantee the health safety of the athletes and the smooth running of the tournament.
This operation is carried out in an enclosed area, i.e. when the changing rooms are empty. It should be noted that the protocol makes perfect sense because the Monte-Carlo Country Club changing rooms are cleaned daily by Emone's teams, and we know that, methodologically, disinfection can only be effective on clean surfaces.
Organization is the key to successful events
This type of major event requires expertise and anticipation. Every year, a technical visit is carried out several months before the tournament, to validate all the areas to be serviced, and to adjust human and material resources on a personalized basis.
This has led to the creation of a retro-planning schedule, refined and validated in collaboration with SMETT (tournament organizer) and the Monte-Carlo Country Club (venue owner). It provides a clear vision of the three key stages: pre-tournament refurbishment, cleaning and on-call services during the tournament, and post-tournament refurbishment.
