Since 2015, Onet Logistique teams have been working with REXEL teams on logistics consulting and the management and steering of goods flows. They help coordinate flows physically (handling) and electronically (traceability) within their warehouse(in situ)

Today, no fewer than 5 sites are managed in partnership with REXEL teams.

Coping with variations in activity

Fully integrated into REXEL's processes, Onet Logistique's teams have developed a precise understanding of their activities and challenges, enabling them to respond fully and appropriately to their needs.

In this respect, and thanks to the involvement of the on-site teams, a genuine partnership has been established. It is based in particular on lean management methods. This lean management method enables teams to effectively reduce all types of waste (time, process, inventory, etc.), while optimizing service quality.

Finally, the strength of the partnership between the REXEL Group and Onet Logistique lies in their ability to adapt to fluctuations in activity, and the health context of recent months has demonstrated the efficiency of the teams.

The logistics sector has had to adapt

The logistics sector, like all other business sectors, experienced major variations in activity. Teams on site had to be adapted to cope with the drop in activity, and also prepare for the post-containment period to ensure that all REXEL customers had access to all the electrical, electronic and multi-energy equipment they had ordered. By June, business had resumed at more than 100%, and teams were mobilized to ensure the resumption of activity.

Patricia Marais, Director of the REXEL Cestas Logistics Center, comments: " The health situation in 2020 forced us to strengthen our cleaning and hygiene services, and ONET was quick to provide the resources and products needed for this new organization. Our partnership with ONET has grown this year on the logistics side, we started a new activity a few weeks before the1st confinement, the team in place knew how to adapt with us to the sanitary context, to the drop in activity then to the resumption in May and all this while respecting the barrier gestures and constraints of our operation. "

Over and above the challenges of deliverability and management of the logistics platform, new procedures have been drawn up with the REXEL group. Implemented to apply the rules of distancing and reinforce vigilance on team crossings, they provide a framework for recommendations and thus avoid any contamination in the logistics centers. Serge Fontanel - Director of the REXEL Tournefeuille Logistics Center - looks back on this period: "In the face of the pandemic, ONET was able to quickly adapt to our organization and support employees in their prevention efforts. To date, there is ZERO COVID at REXEL.
